Terms of service

These terms apply to anyone who uses Quika: customers ordering through the Quika app, businesses sending deliveries through the company app, the API or the Quika store app, and delivery partners ("captains"). Quika is operated by [Legal entity name — to confirm].
What Quika does
Quika is a delivery platform. We connect businesses and customers with captains who pick up and deliver orders, and we run a consumer app where local stores and restaurants list their products.
Accounts
You must give a working phone number and accurate details. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse or prohibited items.
Orders and delivery
- Delivery charges are shown before you confirm an order and are calculated from the distance and the delivery mode.
- Delivery is confirmed when the recipient gives the captain the delivery OTP.
- Delivery times are estimates. Weather, traffic and store preparation time can delay an order.
Businesses
Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, prices, stock and opening hours, for the quality and legality of what they sell, and for packing items safely. Fees, commissions and settlement terms are set out in the seller terms accepted at registration or in a separate written agreement.
Prohibited items
We do not deliver illegal goods, weapons, explosives or flammable material, narcotics, alcohol or tobacco where the law restricts them, live animals, cash, or any item the captain reasonably refuses as unsafe.
Payments
Payments are made online through our payment partner or in cash on delivery where offered. Refunds follow our cancellation and refund policy.
Liability
Our liability for a lost or damaged delivery is limited to the declared value of the order, up to [limit — to confirm]. We are not liable for the goods a business sells; questions about products go to that business first, and we help resolve them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in [Madurai / Chennai — to confirm] have jurisdiction.
